Music is my favorite type of artform

I have been listening to artists Lucy Rose, The Enemy, Charlene Soraia and a few others. Music has been an evolving experience.. I grew up on rock and roll and country, and passed on to trip hop and electronic music, and i feel I have discovered every genre now… I would like to say that my favorite type of music is the type that makes me feel alright in an exotic pleasant way. I remember listening to Death Cab for Cutie’s – I will follow you into the dark, Jack Johnsons – Turn your love, Bob Marley and Nirvana feeling their emotions cross over to me – reading Kurts Biography Heavier than Heaven and coming across the Internet conspiracies of his death…. Music pieces that I love are those that express sadness or happiness, ones that get you pumped with anger and further my meaning to go forward and onto the nether of our existence.. Begging for Thread by Banks… Dangerous by Big Data. Cakes’ The Distance. My favorite music are songs that tell love stories. Listening to one song every now and then… I used to record the stereo on a tape deck to be able to hear it later… Now we have the convenience of streaming our music, downloading it through iTunes… Moving across genres is an evolutionary change… To listen to something like the Foo Fighters Everlong to something like James Blake’s Retrograde… I still have memories from 311’s Amber and I guess now that all the music has been fragmented… But the emotions are the same. Albums like Jamie XX’s Gosh and Flume’s really take a bite from our emotions in a cheap way… They are mastered diligently, so they are in deed cool to hear every month or so… They are my power albums. The ones I would say have more potency than the rest because sound that conveys feelings through frequency alteration of the mind or sounds that affect your minds ability to think are genius. After all… Sound releases endorphins in your mind to create dopamine. It’s not the same as my old music however. For me, the tracks that I find most pleasurable… are Bon Ivers Skinny Love, Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence, Michael Jackson’s I just can’t stop loving you , Charlene Soraia’s When we were five, and tracks that leave you in a trance slowly, music is like a drug. If mastered perfectly, say using bineural simulation, you can achieve a state of mind so finely tuned that you can cross lands through astral projection using the right frequencies… You can expand your mind slowly, open your mind to new experiences, but all is to be done in moderation, after all – every generation goes through instrumental shifts… The ones I enjoy today the are dark synths, a low bassline, with calming waves and light pianos and guitars carried by a sweet voice of a femme.

Nocs NS 200/400 Aluminum/Titanium Review

The day that I first received a pair of Nocs I thought they had two high of a treble and too low of a bass. They didn’t feel neutral.. But as I listened more to them I started to understand why they weren’t as warm as a pair of old speakers. The music I was listening to was not that great. I have been privileged of owning a 350 W sub that was placed inside of a glass enclosure with sound coming from the top, and a small speaker that had the most warm sound of any speakers I’ve owned. The two of them together sounded like an amplified version of the Bose Sound Link Mini. By a lot. And so after the DAC/AMP unit stopped working I purchased the Nocs NS 400-002’s. A pair of 105 db and 16 ohms versus the 96 db of the NS 200’s. To this day, these headphones are the ones I always keep coming back to because I have come to an understanding that not all artists know how to mix audio. The sound engineer for Lana Del Rey does amazing work. These headphones are the in between of audiophile and consumer level grade. It is the definition of what audio should sound like in the entire frequency spectrum without being warm like an old pair of speakers or a highly powered pair of headphones with 600 ohms of clarity and an O2 amp. Trying to listen to such a range lets you hear the imperfections a lot more clearer and that doesn’t make music enjoyable. It’s like telling a child Santa Claus isn’t real. You’ve removed a filter of clarity. Where the Nocs stand is… minimally designed lightweight earbuds made of aluminum/titanium. The difference being a subtle higher clarity in the 400’s and so on for the higher models. Buying anything higher than the Nocs price range is a waste of money.

Nov 11 – Thoughts

Sometimes I’m too lazy to open an app to check a notification and I feel like Siri should just be my morning alarm radio apps/news broadcaster… And sometimes, when I’m falling asleep I get these really deep thoughts about life and write some of them down, one of them was – we already know the meaning of life because we define it.

But I get all tired… and think stuff In the morning like why isn’t there a pair of shoes that you can wear for the rest of your life as long as you don’t have smelly feet and I can change the color/size or use magnets instead of shoelaces. And by the afternoon I’m on Hulu thinking how dare they put ads… sitting angrily drinking my tea – I don’t drink Starbucks or wear skinny-jeans – they are a disgrace to mankind so don’t imagine I do either. Today was Veterans Day, I saw the crazy Taylor Swift experience app music video and I thought that phone she dropped in the fountain looked water-proof. Later I went to an orchestra concert at my old high-school – which still looks the same and they don’t have wifi so that’s good they can’t take attendance using iBeacons yet. Everyone playing tonight looked bored or gloomy and my dad didn’t turn off his cellphone so it rang in the beginning of the show. On the way back I heard Lorde’s Flicker for MockingJay and I’m not sure why Kanye West covered it. I heard Lana Del Rey is supposed to be on his new album… Then I got home cooked Fettucini with home-made Alfredo sauce (don’t know why it’s called that) and I ended up here to spit out my thoughts because I think we go through way more of them than any generation before us. So now I’m going to sleep and encourage you to be positive or stay positive. Grand Theft Auto V comes out soon for PS4 and Xbox One. I have to wait till the PC version comes out… I like running over pedestrians in Ultra HD.

Angel Campos – Youtube

Hello, Daniel here, me and my brother Angel decided to work on a video a long time ago for a song after we were inspired by the lack of art surrounding the amazing music Flume, collaborative artists he worked with and Chet Faker made – The album Built on Glass is amazing. We worked extremely hard on the project and came up with a final version to show you guys how much we love art and music.

These are all of Angel’s creative art genius and I believe you will enjoy them as much as we loved making them, it would make me really happy if you subscribed to his channel or followed his Instagram page and watch his videos since he is amazing and I believe Chet Faker took ideas from us for his single Gold. Enjoy! 🙂
